Maple Glazed Salmon

Some great health benefits about salmon include; rich essential omega-3 fatty acids, which helps decrease inflammation, lowering blood pressure, and improved function of cells in the lining of your arteries. Not to mention it is also a great source of protein, which is essential for any diet because it helps heal your body after an injury, protect bone health, and maintain muscle mass during weight loss / aging.

Not only will you discover that this dish tastes delicious, but is also very simple to prep. What makes this meal very tasty is the sweet base of the syrup, mixed with the salty soy sauce consistency, creating a natural balanced flavor. Utilizing only 6 ingredients, it takes a few minutes to whisk together and toss in the oven. Fifteen minutes later, you have an amazing dinner that awaits you.

*Pairs nicely with a white wine, like pinot grigio or riesling .

>1/4 teaspoons of kosher salt

>1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper

>1 pound of salmon

>1/2 lemon to drizzle as a garnish

General directions:

1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2) In a medium bowl, add maple syrup and mince garlic and add to mixture

3) Add ginger, salt, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Mix with a whisk until fully blended

4) Place fish in bowl and coat on both sides. Put the skin side on top, and the meat side down and place in the refrigerator for 25-30 minutes

5) After sitting in the refrigerator, take out and place foil on the bottom of a baking sheet or glass baking dish.

6) Place the skin side down, and drizzle remaining mixture on top of the fish

7) Put the pan in the oven for approximately 18-20 minutes, until the fish can easily flake off.

8) I recommend serving with rice (or riced cauliflower) and broccolini on the side (I saute the broccolini with garlic olive oil and lemon): #mapleglazedsalmon is ready to serve #Voila Enjoy this simple, easy dish: Brought to you by #cookingwkara
