Nothing is more enjoyable than the savory delicious taste of freshly baked pumpkin bread! I'm trying to resist drooling right now, thinking about it. Once September hits- I am all about pumpkin themed EVERYTHING. And the best part about this recipe, (which many would never guess), but my significant other, Pat developed it! Pretty sure he knows the way to my heart! Gotta love spicy pat.

This simple recipe is packed with flavor and so delicious on its own. I prefer to add a dab of butter for a little salty addition. The key to this baked goodie is to cut back slightly on the sugar, and also once baked to let the pumpkin bread sit for about 1 hour than wrap tightly in foil to keep the interior moist. (God, I HATE that word.) Packed full of delicious flavor, I'm always jumping for joy every time Pat makes this baked goodie, it really is to die for! Enjoy, and lets all give a little praise to Pat for perfecting this recipe!

*Pairs nicely with a dab of butter, or after cooling, pop in the microwave to warm up.

Simple, Salty/ Sweet warm goodness

Pats Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

> 1 can of pumpkin puree

> 4 large eggs

> 1 cup of vegetable oil

> 2/3 cup of water

> 2 cups of white sugar

> 3-1/2 cups of all purpose flour

> 2 teaspoons of baking soda

> 1-1/2 teaspoons of salt

> 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

> 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

> 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves

> 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger

> 7x3 non-stick loaf pan

General directions:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Mix in a large bowl: pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water, and sugar until blended.

3) In a separate bowl, (mix all dry ingredients) : whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves and ground ginger.

4) Slowly pour in dry ingredients with the pumpkin mixture and stir until fully blended.

5) Almost to the finish line! Pour the mixture into the bottom of a 7x3 pan and then shake evenly on a level surface to even out the mixture in the bottom of the pan. After that, place in the oven.

6) Last, bake this delicious meal for 50-60 minutes until fully cooked in the middle. You can check to see if the bread is fully cooked by inserting a knife in the middle. Once taking out the knife, if there is no wet residue, the pumpkin bread is ready to serve. #Voila Enjoy these AMAZING salty/sweet pumpkin bread! Brought to you by #cookingwkara & Pat
